Last year, 2017, KVO Ethiopia Chapter completed the construction of women's toilets for Kenenissa elementary school. Constructing(renovating) the women's toilet project is still on going for other public schools such as Bekelcha, Kara-hora and Foka elementary schools.
Women's toilet was in poor condition before the installation, As There was no proper water facility(such as the sink) and No partition was installed between each and every toilets.
Thank to the installation, Women's toilets have changed and renovated with brand new features, such as water facility(the sink and shower) for female students to properly wash their hands with clean water. This will encourage female students to use toilets more easier than before, Thereby promoting and improving the personal hygiene and women's health for female students.
