[Ethiopia] Supporting the awareness training program for parents of students from 5 public schools in Bishoftu area

Last year, 2017, KVO Ethiopia Chapter provided and supported the awareness training program for parents of students from 5 public schools(Bekelcha, Kenenissa, Derara, Kara-hora, Foka) in Bishoftu area. Many interested people attended the training session including Officers from Ethiopian ministry of education and ministry of women and children affairs, ministry of labor and social affairs, and students and parents of students from 5 public schools
Through the training program, we provided briefing session regarding the introduction of projects of KVO, thereby helping parents better understand and recognize the ideas of the ongoing project(Empowerment on elementary education) of KVO. Also, for better upbrining of children, Education session on understanding of child, hygiene,health and treatment of child and gender awareness training were also conducted as well.
After the training session was finished, We distributed 2 soaps per participant
We could improve the recognition of the upbrining of child for parents by the trainings, and also hope that better upbringing of child to be achieved in near future
